We can generate Windows Media Video files (.wmv), QuickTime (.mov), or generic .mpg files. There are trade offs in viewing quality and file size. Testing seems to indicate that the .wmv files proved the best viewing quality and the best compression (smaller files/faster download), but the .mpg files can be viewed on Mac or Windows systems. Quicktime (.mov) seems to result in poor viewing quality when compression is applied to render a reasonable file size. It's a conundrum!!. Send us a note at Feedback@CoyoteCo.Net and tell us what you think. We've been puttering away at generating new video clips for the gallery. We're adding a few at a time as we work on editing our video projects, and there will be more to come as we get them processed for the web. We've added two new helmet camera systems to our inventory, and a new "land cam", so we can finally offer a viewpoint of a perspective other than our old deck cam! Portions of the clips catalogued below contain material that will be found in our CoyoteCo Video Productions DVD Products. The clips below are, for the most part, raw video clips, as we've reserved most of our editing and effects finesse for those products. But once we get some trailers put together, we'll post them here. Click on the blue file name link, or click the thumbnail photo, to start the download. The .MPG files will start to play immediately, but will be a bit jerky unless you have broadband. To deal with jerky play, simply hit the "Pause" button on your video player, and give the file a minute to download. Then hit play, and the file should run smoothly. The .WMV files (Windows Media Video) will buffer before they start to play. Or at least, that's the behavior we've seen. Let us know if you have problems with either file format.
